The strike of contractual employees under the National Health Mission reached the fifth day on Saturday. The strike by the employees in the premises of the CMO office continued for the fifth consecutive day. On the fifth day of his strike, the joining of political leaders started in the dharna. Metropolitan President of BJP Backward Classes Cell, Anupendra Chaudhary, reached the dharna of NHM workers. He said that he would take the 7 point demands of NHM contractual workers to the top leadership of the party. He assured to make every effort to fulfill these demands. Anupendra Chaudhary said that NHM contract workers have done a commendable job during the Corona epidemic. His contribution will never be forgotten. State President of Panchayat Raj Safai Karamcharis Sangh Jaspal Valmiki reached the dharna. He justified the demands of the NHM employees. Parvez Pankaj, official of NHM Contract Employees Union said that health services across the district are being badly affected due to the strike of the employees. To restore them, the government should initiate talks with the top leaders of the organization. It was presided over by Azizur Rahim and conducted by Vipin Bhatt.
