New Delhi : Navjot Singh Sidhu came out against Arvind Kejriwal in the same style

The political battle between the ruling party Congress vs Aam Aadmi Party seems to be intensifying with the Punjab assembly elections. Punjab Congress state president Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday staged a dharna along with guest teachers outside the residence of Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal. It should be noted that Arvind Kejriwal had also reached Mohali in Punjab recently to participate in the demonstration of teachers. Now in his style, Sidhu also sat on a dharna with the demand of Delhi teachers. Let us tell you that these teachers are demanding to be made permanent.
Apart from this, Sidhu also fiercely targeted the Kejriwal government through Twitter. He wrote that the AAP had promised to restore contract teachers with the same pay as permanent employees but made the situation worse through guest teachers. He alleged that through the school management committees, the so-called AAP volunteers earn 5 lakh annually from government funds.
Questioning the education model that the Aam Aadmi Party is giving edge to its election campaign in Punjab, Sidhu wrote that the Delhi education model is a contract model, there are 1031 schools under the government while only 196 schools have principals, while 45 Percentage teacher posts are vacant and the schools are run on daily wages with 22,000 guest teachers, their contracts are renewed every 15 days.
For your information, let us tell you that recently there was a counterattack between Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia and Punjab Education Minister Pargat Singh. Both the ministers had described the performance of government schools in their respective states as better.
Sisodia visited schools in Chamkaur Sahib, the assembly constituency of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. After reaching the schools of the district, the problems of the teachers had to be known. After this, the Deputy CM of Delhi had said that if in such a situation the Punjab government declares itself to be number one in the country’s education system, then it is playing with the future of the students.
