Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : Eight people injured after Sumo overturned in Chhidarwala on Haridwar-Dehradun road

Eight people in this vehicle were injured when Sumo overturned in Chhidarwala located on Haridwar-Dehradun road under Raiwala police station area. According to the information, on Monday morning, the X Sumo vehicle going from Haridwar to Dehradun overturned near the culvert between Chhidarwala and Saheb Nagar. In which eight passengers including the driver of Sumo, Abid resident of Pathri Haridwar were injured. In which all the passengers suffered minor injuries. Police, with the help of civilians, shifted the injured to a nearby private hospital. Everyone except the driver was discharged after treatment. The driver of the vehicle has been admitted to the Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant. Raiwala SHO Bhuvan Chand Pujari said that Sumo’s axle overturned uncontrollably due to breakdown.
