Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, who reached Congress’s pledge rally in Lakhimpurkhiri, targeted the BJP government fiercely. The BJP government is exploiting the people, he said. Inflation has increased in the BJP government, farmers are being killed. He said, if Congress government comes in 2022, UP will be developed on the lines of Chhattisgarh. Lashing out at the BJP government, CM Bhupesh Baghel said, was stopped for holding a public meeting in Lakhimpur. He said, the Collector of Lakhimpur says that he cannot hold a public meeting here. You cannot mention the Lakhimpur incident and the farmers.

On this, Baghel gheraoed the BJP government, calling the Lakhimpur collector a goon. He said, Yogi ji, you have made the collector the biggest goon, who issues orders that you cannot talk here. He questioned whether dictatorship is going on, hooliganism is going on, you have imposed emergency, cannot talk to the family members of the farmers. Baghel warned and said, take whatever strength you have, we have talked about the farmers.
Congress’s pledge rally organized in Kewalpurwa village of Nakaha block targeted the BJP government. During this, CM Bhupesh Baghel placed the model of Chhattisgarh in front of the Gujarat model. Only our model can bring development, he said. Describing his government, Baghel said, in Chhattisgarh, the Congress is giving more value than the MSP. After the formation of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, he first waived the loans of farmers and also set up Gosamvardhan Kendras. While instructing the officers from the stage, he said, he is the servant of the public, not of any party.
