Punjab: Big disclosure in Ludhiana blast case, sacked constable of Punjab Police had exploded

The person killed in the blast in Punjab’s Ludhiana district court complex has been identified. He was a dismissed head constable of the state police. He was sacked from his job in 2019 for drug smuggling. This was told by DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay.

The DGP said that Gagandeep Singh was a resident of Khanna in Ludhiana. He was dismissed from the police service in a drug trafficking case. He was applying explosives for the blast in the court, when it exploded.

Gagandeep was in jail for two years
Gagandeep Singh was identified through the SIM card found in his mobile. The DGP said that Gagandeep had also spent two years in jail after being arrested in the drugs case.

Tattoo was found on the body
Let us tell you that the incident of explosion in the court premises took place on Thursday in which one person was killed while six others were injured. A tattoo was found on the body of the slain man. This tattoo also helped in revealing the secret.

Came in contact with Khalistanis in jail
The DGP said that the accused Gagandeep Singh wanted to blow up the record room of the court with an explosion. His plan was that after the blast in the record room all the documents would be destroyed and there would be no evidence of drug smuggling against him. Gagandeep came in contact with Khalistanis when he was in jail for two years.
