Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : Drug free counseling camp organized in Gyansu police line to get rid of drug addiction

As per the orders of the Superintendent of Police, Uttarkashi, a two-day drug-free counseling program was organized at Police Line Gyansu, Uttarkashi with the aim of getting rid of drug addicts and connecting them with the mainstream of life. In which counseling was done to police personnel who were consuming drugs in Uttarkashi district. In the council, the experts from outside, sharing their experience and telling about the ill effects of drugs to the police personnel, were motivated in relation to eliminating drugs from their lives. It was told by him that intoxication is a social evil, if we give refuge in our life after defeating any problem, then it feels good in the beginning, but gradually this intoxication makes us physically, mentally and financially weak. And when we become addicted to the whole intoxicant, then many types of diseases also take their place in our body. So that our life ends. So save yourself from getting addicted, don’t let any kind of wrong thinking come in your mind, always stay with positive people and always think positive.

On this occasion, the jawans were told by SP Uttarkashi that drug addiction is the root of our destruction, it spoils the life of a good person, intoxication not only harms the addicted person, but his whole family gets scattered, come Give up all the old bad things and start a new one, all people give up their life from addiction and live a healthy and happy life.

This program of the council was to be organized today 09.01.2022 for the people of Uttarkashi town and its surroundings but it has been postponed due to the increasing infection of Kovid-19 (Omicron). This program will be re-organised by Uttarkashi Police when the situation becomes normal.
