Corona bomb exploded in India Open 2022, 7 Indian players turned out to be COVID-19 positive

The Badminton World Federation has confirmed that 7 players have been found corona infected in India Open 2022 and now these players are out of the tournament, while their rival players have been given a walkover. India  This is a kind of corona explosion in the open, because the players who turned out to be COVID-19 positive include big names.

All the players in the India Open had an RT-PCR test on Tuesday, in which big players like Kidambi Srikanth have been found corona infected. Apart from Kidambi, Ashwini Ponnappa, Ritika Rahul Thakar, Teresa Jolly, Simran Aman Singh, Khushi Gupta and Mithun Manjunath  The COVID 19 test report has also come positive. Out of these players, who were to play in doubles, their teammates have also had to be out of the tournament due to close contact.

Let us tell you that Corona cases have come up for the second time in the India Open badminton tournament. Earlier, before the start of the India Open tournament, the corona report of B Sai Praneeth and Dhruv Rawat came positive and in such a situation, the England team withdrew from the tournament.  Because of this, there was doubt about the tournament, but it was organized. However, soon there has been panic again when the corona cases surfaced again in the bio-bubble.

Corona test protocols have been implemented as per the guidelines of BWF and Badminton Association of India (BAI) to ensure the health and safety of all the participants. The second round of India Open Badminton tournament begins today.
