On Thursday, the Congress announced the names of candidates for all the 6 seats in Muzaffarnagar district. District Congress Committee Secretary Mehraj became emotional after not seeing the name in the list of candidates. She cried and said that “I am raising the Congress flag and stick for 13 years. During this, Mehraj cried bitterly.

Mehraj said that Priyanka didi herself had talked about fighting the elections by bringing forward the women of the struggling party. Despite this, a hardworking worker like him was ignored. He also accused the active workers of being ignored. Mehraj threatened that if she was not given a ticket, she would consider committing self-immolation.

Tickets being given to those with money
Congress leader Mehraj Jahan accused the Congress of giving tickets by taking money and said that tickets are being given to those with money and those who are working in the party for many years are not being given tickets. Mehraj has appealed to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and said that I can fight, but the Congress party does not care about daughters. If I don’t get justice, I will commit suicide.
