Snow covered Uttarakhand hills

At the same time, due to snowfall in Chakrata, it collapsed due to the accumulation of a thick layer of snow on the tin shed built for the convenience of patients and attendants near the Government Community Health Center. Vehicles parked below were also damaged due to snowfall breaking the tin set of the hospital.

The hills of Dhanaulti, Buranshkhanda, Surkanda, Kaddukhal, Kanatal, Batwaldhar have become paralyzed due to intermittent snowfall for two days. Snow has accumulated from one to three feet in major places. A large number of tourists are turning to Buranshkhanda-Dhanaulti to enjoy the snowfall. Due to this, there was a traffic jam from Mussoorie to Bataghat, Masrana, Suvakholi, Buranshkhanda to Dhanaulti throughout the day and the vehicles kept moving.

Intermittent snowfall continued throughout the day in Chardukan-Laltibba of Mussoorie’s Landour Cantt. There has also been light snowfall in Binog Hill, Dudhli Bhadraj of Binog Wildlife Sanctuary, adjacent to Mussoorie. The Yamuna and Agalad valleys adjoining Mussoorie are also receiving continuous rain since yesterday and Nagtibba, Pattharkhola received heavy snowfall.
