The police has exposed the case of brutal murder of a BA student in Colonelganj. While arresting the deceased’s lover Aman Singh and two of his accomplices, the officers claimed that he had raped as well as killed the girl student by pressing her nose and mouth. After this, with the help of his two friends, he went to the spot again to dispose the dead body.
He used to doubt the deceased and due to this there was a dispute between the two at the spot. Only after that he carried out this incident. The police sent all three to jail in the evening.
According to police officers, after registering a case named on the Tahrir of the deceased’s father, Aman was taken into custody and interrogated, many important secrets were revealed. He told that he knew the deceased for the last 10 months. He was a second year BA student at Ishwar Sharan College and a student also studied with him.
During COVID, the WhatsApp group for online classes exchanged numbers between the two and then calls, chats as well as mingling started. However, their relationship turned sour from November. Actually, Aman used to doubt the student and he started abusing her on the phone regarding this matter.
Raped after fainting
According to the police, around 6.30 pm on January 22, Aman called the girl student near IERT ground on the pretext of giving her a book. Due to the movement of vehicles there, he took her to the well located inside the forest on the pretext and started talking while sitting on the stairs.
Officials claim that during the conversation itself, he started reprimanding her while raising suspicion, then the student tried to scream while threatening to complain to the police. On which he punched her in the face and after that with both hands pressed her mouth and nose. When the girl fainted, she raped her. He was about to throw the body in the well when some people raised his voice on which he fled.

Reached the spot again with friends
Police said that he reached Salori after fleeing from the spot and then called his partner Deepak Yadav by phone. At the behest of Deepak, another of his accomplice Nikhil Kanojia also reached, after which all three reached the spot with the intention of disposing of the dead body.
Officials say that the body was not found there while the girl’s bag was lying near the well. Throwing the bag into the well, all three came back. The next day, around 11 o’clock, Aman called up the girl’s friend and asked about her and disconnected the phone when she came to know about her non-return.
The facts revealed in the investigation so far, the statements of the accused and the circumstantial evidence prove that Aman had raped and murdered the student by deceitfully. Deepak and Nikhil supported the accused even after knowing about the incident and helped in hiding the evidence. All three have been arrested and sent to jail. Ajay Kumar, SSP

Big question: Who threw the dead body in the well?
The police may have disclosed the matter, but there is a big question to which the officers do not have the answer. According to the theory of the police, the accused Aman had escaped leaving the girl student at the spot after some people raised their voice.
On reaching there again with friends, the student was not found. After which all three came back. The question is who threw the body of the girl student in the well. Police officials say that it is not clear at the moment. The accused are unable to tell anything in this regard. Investigation is being done.
