Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Patwari was demanding bribe for making status certificate, got arrested by the contractor

After the video of Haridwar tehsil’s Patwari Ramnath taking bribe went viral, another patwari’s black act was caught. Patwari Naresh Kumar Saini, son of Baburam, resident of Senipuram, Sherpur Roorkee, posted in Haridwar tehsil, has been arrested red handed while taking a bribe of four thousand rupees from a contractor. Patwari has been surrounded and arrested by the Vigilance team from Dehradun. Patwari was demanding a bribe of four thousand rupees from the contractor for making the status certificate. The contractor complained about this to 1064 Uttarakhand Anti Corruption, after which the Vigilance team laid a trap and arrested the Patwari. The same person of Pilipadav village, whose house Patwari Ramnath was asking for bribe, has been suspended. All the patwaris have been instructed to work honestly.
