Uttarakhand : Ticket given to Anupama Rawat on the basis of her merit – Congress State Incharge

Congress state in-charge Devendra Yadav said that Anupama Rawat, daughter of former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, has been given ticket on the basis of her merit. Talking to the media on Friday, state in-charge Devendra Yadav said that both former Chief Minister Harish Rawat and his daughter Anupama are eligible candidates. The party is in favor of one ticket from one family, but the entitlement of a deserving candidate cannot be overlooked.
Regarding the denial of ticket to former minister Harak Singh Rawat, who returned to Congress, he said that he had expressed his desire for a ticket. The party accomplished that. Harak Singh wants to ensure his utility in the entire state on the occasion of elections. According to his wish, his daughter-in-law Anukreethy was given a ticket. In future, good youth leadership will emerge in the party.

State Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav said that there is no existence of Aam Aadmi Party in Uttarakhand. All the AAP leaders who have misguided and made party workers are now joining the Congress. He also talked about the farewell of the BJP government of the state on March 10.
On Friday, 80 workers of Aam Aadmi Party of Vidhan Sabha Cantt and Rajpur Road at the Congress headquarters on Rajpur Road left the organization and joined the Congress. In which Rakesh Tank, Shivani Gaur, Devendra Gaur, Sunita Mahendra, Lakshmi Rai, Vicky Mehra, Surjit Singh Titu, Prakashchandra, Azad, Deepak, Mamta Salwan, Shila Thapa etc. joined the Congress. State Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav got him the membership of the party.
He said that if the Aam Aadmi Party’s comrades join the Congress, the party will get its benefit in the assembly elections. He said that due to the anti-people policies of the BJP, the number of people joining the Congress has become clear that every section of the society has been afflicted by the misrule of the BJP. The people of the state want freedom from the BJP.
