Decrease in new cases of corona, 1604 in Delhi and more than 12 thousand cases in Karnataka
The situation is gradually improving in the third wave of the corona epidemic. The number of active cases i.e. patients under treatment is continuously decreasing. In the last one day, there has been a decrease of more than one lakh in active cases. However, the deaths have remained above one thousand, as the Kerala government is releasing the earlier deaths by adding them to the new figures. At the same time, according to the data released in the evening, 1,604 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. During this 3,324 people were discharged and 17 deaths were recorded. The total active cases of corona in the national capital are 9,979.
New cases of corona came in these states of the country
▪️12,009 new cases of corona have been reported in Karnataka in the last 24 hours. 25,854 recoveries and 50 deaths were recorded. There are 1,09,203 active cases of corona in the state.
▪️In the last 24 hours in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, 643 new cases of corona virus have been reported. During this, 1,402 recoveries and 4 deaths were recorded. There are 6,367 active cases of corona in the capital.
▪️In Tamil Nadu, 7,519 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this, 23,938 people were discharged and 37 deaths have been recorded.
▪️446 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Assam in the last 24 hours. During this, 1,791 people were discharged and 16 deaths have been recorded.
▪️There are 1,345 new corona virus cases in West Bengal in the last 24 hours. During this, 2,251 recoveries and 31 deaths have been recorded.
▪️In the last 24 hours, 4,710 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Gujarat. During this, 11,184 recoveries and 34 deaths have been recorded.
According to the data released in the evening, 44 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours. During this, 1,434 people were discharged and 3 deaths were recorded. Now the total active cases of corona in Himachal are 6,146.
Active cases of corona in the country decreased by 1,03,921
According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Saturday, 1,27,952 new cases have been found across the country in 24 hours and 2,30,814 patients have been cured. In this way, there has been a decrease in active cases by 1,03,921 and at present their number has come down to 13,31,648 which is 3.16 percent of the total cases.
The number of deaths suddenly increased in Maharashtra
During this, there have been 1,059 deaths across the country, including 595 from Kerala alone. The number of sudden deaths has also increased in Maharashtra and the state has recorded 81 deaths.
The daily infection rate has come down to 7.98 percent and the weekly infection rate is 11.21 percent. The recovery rate of patients is increasing continuously and it is currently at 95.64 percent, while the death rate remains at 1.19 percent.
Both doses were given to about 73 crore people
So far, 72.92 crore people have been given both doses of the vaccine in the vaccination campaign against the corona virus, that is, they have been fully vaccinated. So far 95.04 crore people have been given the first dose and 1.40 crore vigilance doses have also been applied. In this way, a total of 169.37 crore doses of vaccine have been administered to the beneficiaries in the country so far.
