Uttarakhand : Amidst allegations of infighting, BJP in mood for change of state organization! Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank met JP Nadda

Even though it may be 10 days before the results of the assembly elections, but the smell of change is being felt in the state BJP organization. It is believed that the responsibility of the state organization can be entrusted to a senior leader from Garhwal Mandal. If the BJP comes to power again, then the current state president Madan Kaushik can be made a minister in the government. The meeting of former Union Minister and former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank with BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi on Sunday is being seen as a link to this episode. On the other hand, uneasy with one after the other complaints of contraception in the assembly elections, the BJP is following the strategy of wait and watch till March 10. This is the reason why the party is silent on this subject for the time being.
There was a change of leadership in the ruling BJP government in the state in March last year. Then in place of the then Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Garhwal MP Tirath Singh Rawat was made the Chief Minister. Along with this, the leadership change was also done in the state BJP organization. The then state president Banshidhar Bhagat was made a minister in the government and Madan Kaushik, who was a minister in the Trivendra government, was given the command of the state BJP. In such a situation, Kaushik had a challenge to prove himself in a new role.
Now that the voting for the election of the fifth assembly has been done and the counting of votes is to be done on March 10, the discussion regarding change of leadership in the state organization has started. Actually Kaushik comes from Haridwar district and he is contesting from Haridwar seat. During the elections, he attended meetings of big leaders, but he spent most of his time in his constituency. Meanwhile, soon after the voting on February 14, the talk of delusions in the election from Haridwar district itself became vocal. Then BJP candidate and MLA from Laksar, Sanjay Gupta had made serious allegations of concussion on the state president Madan Kaushik. Though the party has taken cognizance of the matter, no action has been taken yet.
