South Africa gave a big blow to IPL, BCCI engaged in finding a middle ground

All the preparations for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season have been done. It will start from March 26, but before that the South Africa Cricket Board (CSA) has given a big blow to the league. CSA has selected its big players in the team for the Bangladesh series. In such a situation, it will be difficult for him to play in half the IPL.
IPL franchises talked to the Indian board regarding this matter. Considering this, the BCCI has now started talking to CSA director Graeme Smith to find a middle ground. Let us tell you that the South African team has to play a series of three ODIs and two Tests against Bangladesh at home from March 18 to April 11. In such a situation, it is difficult for African players to play IPL till April 15.
This player will not play IPL for 3 weeks!
Quinton de Kock, who has retired from Test cricket, will play the ODI series. He has been bought by the new IPL team Lucknow Super Giants. However, it is not yet clear whether fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada (Punjab Kings), Enrique Norkia (Delhi Capitals), Marco Jensen (SunRisers Hyderabad) and Lungi Ngidi (Delhi Capitals) will join the IPL ahead of the Test series. The ODI squad also includes Dwayne Pretorius, Russi van der Dussen, Aiden Markram and David Miller. Faf du Plessis has already retired from international cricket.
Although Enrique Norkia has not been selected in the squad for the ODI series against Bangladesh, he has just recovered from the injury. He has not been given clearance by the medical team yet. In such a situation, the suspense remains intact on his playing IPL. Norkia has not bowled since November.
Some franchises have suffered
A senior BCCI official said that the Indian board will talk to Graeme Smith. We want top players to be able to join IPL as soon as possible. We expect better support from CSA. Some franchises have been hurt by the big players not being available for three weeks.
