Incidents of forest fires are not taking the name of stopping. On Tuesday also, fire broke out at five places in the district. The forest fire also reached the DM residence located at the headquarters, although the fire department brought the fire under control in time. The fire brigade and forest personnel also struggled to extinguish the forest fire.
On Tuesday, the forests of Jaurasi kept burning for about four hours at two places. In the Dwarahat area, the fire continued to burn in the forests for about half an hour. The fire that broke out in the afternoon near Dol Ashram continued to smolder till late evening, due to which a lot of forest wealth was burnt. The fire that broke out in Jageshwar area since Monday is yet to be controlled. Fire watchers of the forest department and firemen of the fire department are trying to douse the fire. The fire continued to burn for some time in the forests of Chitai.
The forest fire also reached the DM residence located in the district headquarters. Fire Officer Umesh Pargai said that on receiving information about the fire near the DM residence, a team of firemen was sent along with two fire tenders. The fire was brought under control after sprinkling water for about an hour. The fire did not cause much damage. Along with this, forest fires were also moving towards the populated area in Petshal and Chitai area, but the fire was brought under control in time.
The forest also exploded in Bhatrouj Khan

Fire Department launched cleanliness drive

On Tuesday, the employees of the fire department cleaned the barricade, mess office and MT in the fire station premises under the direction of fire officer Umesh Pargai. Dr. Kusmulta, PMS of the district hospital, said that during summer season, there is a problem of burning in the eyes, as well as respiratory diseases due to smoke etc. To avoid irritation to the eyes, regularly wash the eyes with cold water. Go out in the sun wearing glasses, protect the eyes from smoke etc. In case of excessive burning sensation, consult a doctor. Avoid cold foods to avoid respiratory problems. Steam the water. Forest fire became a threat to electricity
