Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : Thieves blew cash and documents from hotel
Two thieves have carried out the theft in a hotel in Koel Ghati on Haridwar Road. The thieves escaped with 13 thousand rupees in cash, hotel keys and papers from the bags of the hotel staff. The pictures of the incident have been captured in the CCTV camera. The picture of a thief is clearly visible in it. The manager of the hotel has demanded action by giving a complaint to the police.
According to the information, two thieves entered a hotel located in Koel Valley on Haridwar Road at around four in the morning. A thief stood on the ground floor and started monitoring. While the second thief entered the hotel through an under-construction building. During this the thief first opened the door of the store. Stole cash, papers and spare keys of the hotel from the bags of hotel staff Sunil Kumar and Dheeraj Mehta in the store. The way the thief came, he fled back. The pictures of the incident were captured in the CCTV camera. When the hotel staff got up in the morning, they came to know about the theft. Hotel manager Pramod Joshi confirmed the theft after seeing CCTV camera footage. After this, after giving information to the police, called on the spot. Pramod Joshi told that no room in the hotel was full due to lack of tourists. So the hotel staff were sleeping in the ground floor room. Police have seized the CCTV footage after inspecting the spot. Pramod Joshi has also handed over the Tahrir to the police. Kotwali Inspector Ravi Saini told that the matter is being investigated.
