Bihar : “I will resign soon after meeting my father”: Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap tweeted after being accused of assault

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav has come into the limelight due to one of his tweets. He has spoken of his resignation by tweeting. Late on Monday evening, Tej Pratap tweeted saying that I have followed in the footsteps of my father. Respect was given to all the workers. Soon I will meet my father and submit my resignation. Tej Pratap has also tagged this tweet to his father and younger brother, mother Rabri Devi, sister Misa Bharti and Chiranjeev Rao.
However, he did not say whether he intended to quit the party or the state assembly or both. In fact, this development comes hours after a party functionary accused Tej Pratap of assault, to which the RJD has so far refrained from reacting. Even Tej Pratap himself has not made any mention in this matter yet.
