Uttarakhand : CM Shivraj took over the front in Dehradun, announced compensation of Rs 5-5 lakh, met the injured
26 passengers lost their lives in a tragic accident on Sunday near Damta Rikhaon Khad on Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. The bus full of 30 passengers went out of control and fell into a ditch. 26 bodies have been recovered. As soon as the information was received, the police and SDRF team reached the spot. Rescue work continues. After the incident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has reached the disaster control room.
At the same time, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chauhan also reached Dehradun. He has announced Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured. CM Shivraj said, I am here in the disaster control room of Dehradun. I have taken complete information from the spot. Teams of DM, SP, DIG, NDRF and SDRF are present at the spot. The two people are yet to be traced. The three injured are admitted to Max Hospital.
