Uttarakhand / Mussoorie : Demonstration to demand suspension of Municipality Tourism in-charge Vinod Kumar

There is a huge outrage among the people after Vinod Kumar, tourism in-charge of Mussoorie Municipal Council, made indecent remarks with women employees and indecent remarks for the people of Jaunpur, due to which the people of Jaunpur society have protested against tourism in-charge Vinod Kumar in Mussoorie Municipal Council. Protesting at the main gate of the city, demanded immediate suspension of the Municipality President and SDM Mussoorie. Not seeing the positive aspect of the whole matter by Anuj Gupta, the people of Jaunpur staged a protest by closing the barrier on the Mussoorie Picture Palace Mall Road and raised slogans against the municipality administration. The protesters said that until Vinod Kumar did not apologize publicly, both the barriers of the Mall Road would not be operated and the offices of both the barriers were searched by the protesters. Due to the demonstration on the barrier, there was a long jam on both the sides of the barrier, due to which the people had to face a lot of problems. Mahipal of Jaunpur society said that Mussoorie is a family in which all the people of the society live with equality but by the tourism in-charge. The work of fighting among themselves is being done by doing politics of regionalism. Vinod Kumar is being indecisive with the women employees working in the municipality, it will not be tolerated. He said that the sit-in protest would continue till the municipality president Anuj Gupta did not expel the tourism in-charge. On the other hand, the Mussoorie Municipal Corporation Employees Union has also opened a front against the Mussoorie Municipality Tourism in-charge. Union General Secretary Chandraprakash Badoni has also expressed anger over the indecency being done to women by tourism in-charge Vinod Kumar. Regarding which the union has also issued a letter to the municipal administration demanding action against Vinod Kumar, he said that if action is not taken against Vinod Kumar, then the Municipal Employees Union will be forced to agitate against him. Let us tell you that Vinod Kumar has been constantly surrounded by controversies, where in the past he has been indecisive with people in the barrier and assaulted tourists many times, for which he has also apologized many times, while once again Mussoorie Municipality employees. The matter of derogatory remarks made to the women working employees and the people of Jaunpur society is gaining momentum.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
