Uttarakhand : Modernization of madrasas will happen in Uttarakhand on the lines of UP – CM Dhami

Madarsas will be modernized in Uttarakhand like Uttar Pradesh. Like government schools, smart classes will be run in these too. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami indicated this. Talking to the media, on the question related to the initiative of Uttar Pradesh, he said that after analyzing all the aspects, steps will be taken to modernize the madrassas.

Presently 444 madrasas operate

At present 444 madrasas are operating in Uttarakhand, which are registered with the madrasa board. In the changed circumstances, emphasis is being laid on modernization of madrassas so that the children studying there can also get education like government schools. Now the kind of indications given by Chief Minister Dhami has raised hopes of early modernization of madrassas.

Need for change in traditional education

According to Shadab Shams, BJP leader and former vice-president of the 15-Point Program Implementation Committee, he had discussed with the Chief Minister regarding the modernization of madrassas. He said that there is a need to change the traditional education being imparted in madrasas.

The Chief Minister wants Muslim children to become smart too. With the modernization of madrasas, smart classes will be run there too. Along with this, children will be able to take education related to other subjects including Hindi, English, Science, Social Science, Computer.
