Apart from this, CM Bhupesh also announced to buy cow urine to increase the income of women and villagers. CM made it clear that after purchasing cow dung, now the state government will buy cow urine, which will be refined and used to make medicine.

Today, during a program organized at Rajpur in Balrampur district, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel released an amount of Rs 10 crore 70 lakh online to the cattle rearing villagers, women groups associated with Gauthans and Gauthan committees under Godhan Nyay Yojana. The amount includes payment of Rs 2.34 crore in lieu of cow dung purchased from cattle rearing villagers, farmers, landless in Gauthans of the state from April 16 to April 30 and Rs 5.04 crore to Gauthan committees and Rs 3.32 crore to women’s groups.

It was informed by the Public Relations Department that according to the promise of CM Bhupesh Baghel, the amount of Godhan Nyay Yojana is being paid regularly every fortnight. The Chief Minister will be on a tour of Surguja division till May 1 due to the meeting with the public. There should be no delay in releasing the amount of Godhan Nyay Yojana, that is why an amount of Rs 10.70 crore was released online as 43rd installment to the beneficiaries of this scheme from Rajpur in Balrampur district. It is worth mentioning that Godhan Nyay Yojana is the only such scheme in the country and the world Through which cow dung is being purchased at the rate of Rs 2 a kg in Gauthans of Chhattisgarh state. 136.22 crore has also been paid to the villagers selling cow dung in exchange for the dung purchased in the Gauthans till April 15.
