CM Yogi handed over Hotel Alaknanda to Uttarakhand, 21 year old asset dispute ended

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is currently on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand. This is the first visit of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to Uttarakhand after becoming the CM for the second consecutive time in Uttar Pradesh. With this visit of CM, many years old matters going on between the two states have also been resolved.
Old dispute over
Both the states have ended the 21-year-old dispute. According to the formula of property distribution between the two states, Uttarakhand got the Alaknanda Hotel. UP built Bhagirathi Hotel in its share. Let us tell you that in the year 2000, Uttarakhand was separated from UP and a new state was formed.
What did CM Dhami say
In a joint press conference with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, since the formation of Uttarakhand, there were some issues which remained unresolved due to change of government. We have solved most of them, while some issues related to irrigation will be resolved soon with UP.
