Uttarakhand : Vishwanath Jagdish Shila Doli Yatra reached Haridwar, took a bath in Mother Ganga
Vishwanath Jagdish Sheela Doli, known as the God of the mountains, descended from the mountains and reached Harki Padi, the mythical place of the holy city of Haridwar, to bathe in Maa Ganga. Doli is headed by former Uttarakhand minister Prasad Naithani. With hundreds of devotees on the beat of drums, Baba’s Doli was warmly welcomed at Harki Padi and Baba was bathed and worshiped in Maa Ganga with full rituals. The officials of Ganga Sabha were also present on this occasion. The purpose of doing this yatra is to keep world peace, culture alive and to accelerate the development in the state and to give a real shape to the identity of Uttarakhand as a Devbhoomi.
