Free cylinders will start coming soon in Uttarakhand, and people of 13 districts will be benefitted
Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rekha Arya said that women will get a big relief by getting three refilled LPG cylinders every year to Antyodaya ration card holders. They will be provided the first cylinder between April and July every year. Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya said that the second cylinder would be made available from August to November and the third cylinder would be made available between December and March. He said that the BJP had made this promise in its manifesto on the occasion of elections. The government has taken the decision by fulfilling the promise.
He said that women are the backbone of any family. Three free cylinders are being provided to reduce the financial burden of poor families. He said that distribution of LPG cylinders would be started from the first week of June next month. Right now, due to the by-election in Champawat district, the implementation of this scheme will be done later. Food Minister Rekha Arya said that the second important decision of the cabinet has been taken in the interest of farmers. If the farmer is financially strong then the state will also be happy.
