Uttarakhand : Responsibility of different dhams to two ministers? Harish Rawat raised questions, asked – is Satpal unsuccessful then?

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that what the Chief Minister has accepted regarding the Chardham Yatra is that the Tourism Minister has failed to make the Chardham Yatra smooth. This is the reason that two ministers have been given the responsibility of different Dhams. The former Chief Minister said that the arrangement regarding Chardham Yatra is disturbed from where the Yatra is starting. The second place from where to organize the yatra and take alternative measures for those who are being stopped is Sonprayag in Kedarnath and Joshimath in Badrinath and further Govindghat.

There should be a government arrangement for the passengers who have to stop, so that they do not have to bear the pressure of expenses. The former Chief Minister said that medical facilities are already poor during Chardham Yatra and this time when more numbers were estimated in the Yatra, then medical arrangements should have been mobilized accordingly.

People in Rishikesh are not getting proper guidance, if they get proper guidance and exchange of right information then the situation could have been improved. The former CM said that he is not against giving the responsibility to the ITBP, but the role of SDRF should be increased, from escorting the passengers to handling the arrangements in the Dham.
