New York: Came to supermarket with rifle in car, started firing as soon as he left, 10 killed

Several people were shot Saturday afternoon at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. According to the AP report, the gunman was wearing ‘military-style’ clothing. He entered the supermarket with a rifle and started firing. Police said the gunman has been taken into custody. At least ten people have been confirmed dead in the firing at Top Friendly Market. Law enforcement officials did not immediately provide details about the number and condition of the injured. Governor Kathy Hochul tweeted that she is in contact with officials about the incident in her hometown of Buffalo.

An FBI team is questioning the suspect. Investigators suspect that the gunman live-streamed the entire incident through a camera mounted on his helmet. In the videos that have surfaced, he is seen holding a rifle in the front seat of the car in the parking lot. As soon as he got out of the car, he started firing. The footage also shows the suspect entering a supermarket and shooting several people inside.
