Uttar Pradesh : When the bulldozer rumbles, Yogi’s recovery campaign begins, preparations for action on ineligible card holders who take free ration

CM Yogi has started a new campaign in UP. Till now the bulldozer of CM Yogi was in discussion but now the recovery campaign is also about to start. Under this new campaign, action will be taken against the ineligible card holders who snatch the morsel of the poor by making ration cards in a fake manner and recovery will be made from them. CM Yogi has sent an order to the district administration in the entire state and said that action will be taken against the ineligible card holders. Apart from this, order has been made to make a long list of ineligible card holders who take wheat, rice and food items for free. CM Yogi has warned all the ineligible card holders to surrender the ration card at the earliest. After this order of the CM, the district administration is also in action and in Muzaffarnagar, District Magistrate Chandra Bhushan Singh has held a meeting with the District Supply Officer and all the ration dealers. In this meeting, the District Magistrate has ordered the ineligible card holders to surrender the ration card as well as prepare a list of ineligible card holders and make recovery from them.

Hundreds of ineligible card holders arrived to surrender ration

Due to the order of the District Magistrate of Muzaffarnagar, there was a stir in the entire district and hundreds of ineligible card holders reached the District Supply Officer to surrender the ration.

District Magistrate Chandra Bhushan Singh said that under the Food Security Act 2013, the order of the government is that people either come under the Antodaya eligibility or they come in the eligible household. In this, there is a boundary between urban and rural areas. People under 74% in rural area and 64% in urban area can join. In our district, many ineligible people have taken the eligibility of Antoday card by hiding the information. Similarly, there are some people in the eligible household who are not really eligible.

The District Magistrate said that orders have also been issued against those who have done such work, and action is being taken by me in this matter. In the information that we had received, there are 800 such Antodaya card holders who have stopped taking ration on their own and similarly there are 13 thousand units of such card holders who are not coming to take ration. Apart from this, after the order of the CM, a large number of card holders have surrendered their ration cards.
