Uttarakhand : Roadways employees upset due to non-availability of DA

There is resentment among the employees due to non-implementation of Dearness Allowance (DA) order in roadways. Uttarakhand Roadways Employees Union has written a letter to the Managing Director demanding implementation of the order of DL.

State General Secretary Ravinandan Kumar said that the government had ordered to increase DA on January 7 this year. In this, DA was to be increased from 28 to 31 percent to the employees from July 1, 2021, but till now the roadways employees are not getting the benefit, due to which there is resentment among the employees. The government has now increased the dearness allowance of the state employees by three percent, but the roadways employees are still not getting the benefit of the increased DA in the past, it is an injustice to the employees. He has demanded to pay the salary for the month of April with increased DA.
