Common service centers will open in UP’s gram panchayats, more than 4.5 lakh youth will get employment opportunities
Uttar Pradesh is at the stage of finalizing an action plan to provide employment opportunities to more than 4.5 lakh youth through one lakh 80 thousand Common Service Centers in rural areas. Official sources said on Friday that the government is going to take a big step to connect the youth with employment along with making all facilities easily accessible to the people. The state government is going to open 1.80 lakh CSCs (Common Service Centers) in villages. This will provide employment opportunities to more than 4.5 lakh youth. He said that the government wants to connect at least one person from all the families in the state with employment in the next five years. At the same time, it is the intention of the government that people should not have to wander for facilities and all facilities should be available to the people near home. Keeping this in view, there is a plan to open 1.80 lakh CSCs in the villages in the next five years. Through this 4.50 lakh youth will be linked to self-employment.
The government plans to open at least two CSCs in every gram panchayat. Sources said that villagers can get the benefit of government and non-government services in CSC. In CSC, a lot of digital work is done at one place. If you want to deposit money in someone’s account or withdraw money from the account or get any certificate made online, then it can be done through common service center. Through this youth can develop a means of income in the village itself. Also you can give employment to others.
