Flight will start from july
Let us tell you that Akasa Air is planning to start its commercial flight operations in July. Domestic airline Akash Air is expected to get its first aircraft by mid-June. The airline plans to operate 18 aircraft on domestic routes by March 2023.
The airline has already received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Civil Aviation Ministry in August 2021 to start commercial flight operations. The company has also got its airline code which will be “QP”. Let us tell you that every airline in the world has a designer code. For example, Indigo is coded as “6E”, Go First is coded as “G8” and Air India is coded as “AI”.
Flights will fly for these cities
In a recent interview to PTI, Vinay Dubey, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Akash Air said, “Initially, Akash Air will start services from metros to Tier-2 and Tier-3 category cities.
