Uttarakhand : Online booking will be done for Ganga Aarti at Harki Paidi, Rs 2100 will have to be paid for the main aarti

The world famous main aarti of Ganga to be held at Harki Paidi can be booked online for the first time. Earlier, booking had to be done by contacting the mobile number of Sri Ganga Sabha and making notes on the date of Aarti. Now passengers will be able to make complete booking online themselves. Devotees will also be able to know the vacant slots of booking. The main aarti of Ganga can be booked for Rs 2100. Special focus is being given on online booking by Shri Ganga Sabha. Work has started on the website now, in the next few days all the arrangements will be made online. Shri Ganga Sabha General Secretary Tanmay Vashisht himself is monitoring it.

11 aartis including the main assistant: Devotees from the country and abroad reach to see the aarti of Harki Paidi. There are 11 aartis in the Brahmakund, including the main and auxiliary aartis. Rs 2100 for main aarti and Rs 1100-1100 for other aartis have already been fixed.

Booking starts from Navsamvatsar

The booking of Aarti starts according to Nav Samvatsar. Bookings started from April 2 this year. There is no booking of main aarti till August. In September also only a few selected days are vacant. Bookings till 21st March 2023 are currently being taken. Booking for the year 2023 to 2024 will start on 22nd March 2023. Preparations are being made for online booking of main aarti. Experts are currently doing some work on the website. It is planned to launch in the next few days. The devotees will get the information about the vacant slots online only.
