Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has taken a big action showing a strong attitude towards corruption. Bhagwant Mann has removed his health minister Vijay Singla from the cabinet on charges of corruption. According to reports, Vijay Singla had demanded a percentage commission while awarding the contracts. After getting solid evidence against Vijay Singla, Bhagwant Mann has removed Vijay Singla from the post of minister. Taking action on Vijay Singla, Bhagwant Mann said, “Arvind Kejriwal told me that I cannot tolerate dishonesty, dishonesty of one penny. I promised it would not happen. We are the people who came out of the movement and that movement was against corruption.”

Bhagwant Mann further said, “A case came to my attention. In this case the minister of my government was involved. In a contract, the minister of my government was asking for one percent commission. Only I knew about this case. This case could have been suppressed. But to do so would be cheating. That’s why I am taking action against that minister. Action is being taken immediately. The minister’s name is Vijay Singla and a case is being registered against him.”
Vijay Singla admits his crime
Vijay Singla has confessed his crime. The CM said, “Vijay Singla did corruption in the Health Ministry. Vijay Singla has confessed his crime. I want to tell you all that the government of Aam Aadmi Party will keep zero tolerance against corruption. This work has been done for the second time after independence. Arvind Kejriwal had removed his minister in 2015 on charges of corruption.”
