Uttarakhand : Akhara Parishad will talk to Muslim religious leaders in Gyanvapi case, also made a big statement on Akhilesh Yadav

In the matter of Gyanvapi Masjid dispute, the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad is now going to find a way to negotiate. The head of the council, Mahant Ravindra Puri, has directed the general secretary of the council, Mahant Hari Giri, to resolve the issue through dialogue between the religious leaders of both the Hindu and Muslim sides. Earlier in a conversation with News18, Puri condemned Akhilesh Yadav’s statement and said that Akhilesh should apologize to the Hindu society for his statement.
In the Gyanvapi case, the Akhara Parishad has claimed to initiate a reconciliation. In Haridwar, after meeting General Secretary Mahant Hari Giri, Puri told the media that Giri would go to Varanasi and discuss with the mosque management and try to resolve the dispute between the two sides through talks. In this regard, Giri said, even before this, the Akhara Parishad had discussed with the Muslim parties in the Ram Janmabhoomi case in Ayodhya. He expressed the hope that if the religious leaders of both the sides sit and discuss, then a solution will be found this time.
Mahant upset over Akhilesh’s statement
Mahant Ravindra Puri, president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the largest organization of saints, strongly condemned Akhilesh Yadav’s statement. Puri also demanded an apology from Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for the statement. He said, not only the SP gets the votes of the Muslims but also the votes of the Hindus. Akhilesh should talk about temple in Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura. Puri also accused Akhilesh of making rhetoric to appease a community.
In fact, in the past, Akhilesh Yadav created a ruckus by saying, “In Hinduism, if you put any stone anywhere, put a red flag, then a temple is built under the Peepal tree.” The Sant Samaj reacted sharply to this statement of Akhilesh in the ongoing scenario regarding the claim of Shivling in Gyanvapi and termed it as hurting the sentiments of Hindus.
