Jatin and Vikram factions have come face to face many times before
The controversy that started two years ago over the ink remover of a few rupees led to the death of Vishal, a resident of Kelakheda. The tussle that started between the students over this dispute gradually turned into a canker. Due to the tension, the students formed their own factions. In the last three years, there were several fights between them.

Jatin Chaudhary, a resident of village Shikarpur in Swar tehsil of Rampur district, and Manavdeep alias Manav, a resident of Shivnagar, were students of Mother India Public School located at Bajpur Daurahe. Vikramjit Singh, a resident of Kelkheda, also studied in this school. Two years ago, there was a fight between Jatin and Vikram over a snatch of ink remover. Vikram told this to his companions Gagan and Vishal. Vishal was of hackneyed nature. On this Vikram and Vishal etc beat Jatin. Seeing his lightness, Jatin made friends with some youths of Bajpur Dhansara and joined them with him. Jatin had come to Dhansara three months ago.

There Vishal and his accomplices attacked Jatin with a basewall bat. In this case, a settlement was reached between the two parties after a complaint was made to the police. Despite this, their mutual animosity did not subside. Vishal’s mother Krishna told that two days ago, while playing football in the village school, Vishal had sprained his leg. On May 25, Vikram and Gagan had come to call him in a car. He was refusing to go to Bajpur due to sprain in his leg but both of them took him along with insistence. His father Ramesh says that if the youth accompanying him during the attack had resisted instead of running away, his son’s life could have been saved.
