Bihar : After the ticket was cut, RCP Singh said thanks to Nitish Kumar
JDU leader and Union Steel Minister RCP Singh, who came in front of the media for the first time after the Rajya Sabha ticket was cut, spoke openly. RP Singh thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the decision to cut his ticket and give it to Jharkhand JDU state president Khiru Mahto. During the interaction with the media, while RCP Singh praised Nitish Kumar, he also pulled up the state president of the party. Along with this, RCP called the Bharatiya Janata Party a strong ally of the alliance and said that despite having 303 MPs, the BJP gave him a chance to become a minister, this is the nobility of the BJP.
On the question of continuing as a minister, RCP Singh said that it is the prerogative of the Prime Minister. With the wish of Nitish Kumar, he has become a minister in the central government. The orders of the party and the Prime Minister will be followed immediately.
In his statement, RCP Singh said that now he will work for the organization. From the year 2010, he was constantly engaged in strengthening the organization. In the intervening few days, he was made a minister. Once again they have a chance to make the organization stronger. The RCP claimed that they took JD(U) to the booth level and formed 33 cells of the party keeping in view the social fabric of the state. He expressed displeasure at the current state president for the fact that 33 cells were reduced to 12-13. He said that 33 to 53 should have been done and not reduced to 12-13.
The RCP said that they have a relationship of 25 years with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. With the support of Nitish Kumar, he was a member of Rajya Sabha for 12 years, became the National President and became a Union Minister. So there is no resentment towards Nitish Kumar for not getting the ticket.
Responding to a question, the RCPC said that they have no differences with Lalan Singh. Lalan Singh is a member of the Lok Sabha and himself a member of the Rajya Sabha. So there is no quarrel between the two. On the question of going to the nomination of Khiru Mahto, he said that if called, he will definitely go.
Meanwhile, the RCP rejected the claim of JDU’s proportionate representation in the central government. He was seen standing in the court of BJP on this issue. He said that BJP got 181 seats in the 2014 elections which increased to 303 in the 2019 elections. In such a situation, BJP has given JDU a place in the cabinet, it is their nobility.
He said that Nitish ji thinks well of me. His decision regarding Rajya Sabha elections will also be good. When he was asked why the ticket was cut, the ACP said that ask this question to Nitish ji.
In a slightly emotional manner, RCP Singh told that on getting information from news media, party workers were constantly calling him and asking about getting tickets and were also expressing their opinion. This is the measure of his popularity within the party and it is his biggest achievement that resides in the hearts of RCP workers.
