Bihar / Puranhiya: Husband did not dance in brother-in-law’s marriage, angry wife along with brother took husband’s life
The angry wife, along with her brother, killed her husband for refusing to dance at the brother-in-law’s wedding in Hathisar village of the police station area. At the same time, the dead body was thrown to hide the evidence. Surprisingly, the wife also identified the dead body. It belongs to Hathisar village of Puranhiya police station. Sensation spread in the area after the mutilated body of the youth was recovered on Friday near the chimney adjacent to the village. Police reached the spot and investigated the matter. After the deceased was identified by his wife Geeta Devi as Saroj Paswan (28), a resident of Harpur Kala village under Majorganj police station in Sitamarhi district, the police sent the body to Saroja Sitaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. In connection with the incident, an FIR of murder has been registered at Puranhia police station on the statement of the deceased’s father, Sokrati Paswan. In which seven people including the wife and brother of the deceased have been accused.
Police have registered a case and started investigation. The local police immediately refrained from revealing the names of the accused. Whereas, SP Ananth Kumar Rai said that Saroj Paswan, a resident of Harpur Kala of Majorganj police station in Sitamarhi district, had come to attend the marriage ceremony at his in-laws’ house located in Hathisar village of Puranhia police station on May 25. Was missing since then. His body was found on Friday. The father of the deceased has lodged an FIR against seven including wife and brother-in-law. Police is investigating after registering a case.
It has been told that on May 25, Saroj Paswan’s brother-in-law was married in Hathisar village. He had come from his house to his in-laws’ house to attend the marriage. Since then he was missing. Relatives of the deceased told that his wife Geeta Devi was also dancing during the marriage ceremony. Husband stopped wife from dancing. This angered the wife. Later there was a dispute between the two. Since then he was missing. Told that, after the dispute, the wife along with brother and other associates killed him and threw the dead body. On Friday, his body was found near the chimney adjacent to the village.
