Jammu and Kashmir : The lamp flutters rapidly before it is extinguished… LG Manoj Sinha said in the midst of target killing in Kashmir

Amidst increasing target killing in Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that some elements from across the border are constantly trying to disturb peace in the valley. He said that terrorism is now in its final stages. After inaugurating several projects under the Smart City scheme, Manoj Sinha told reporters that the administration and security forces are fully prepared and will not allow such elements to succeed.
“The people of Kashmir understand everything and many people including religious leaders have openly condemned such acts (of violence),” the Lt Governor said. The lamp flutters rapidly before it is extinguished. It (terrorism) is in its final stages but they are trying to bring back those days (when terrorism was at its peak). The administration and security forces are fully prepared.
‘Trying to bring back the old days’
Manoj Sinha said that there has been a big change in the thinking of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said, ‘These people are trying to bring back the old days. Administration and security forces are trying with their full potential. I see a big change has come in the mindset of the people.
The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir said, “Some elements from across the border are constantly trying to disturb the peace of Jammu and Kashmir. The large influx of tourists (into the valley) and progress in the economy are not in the interest of such elements. People here have to understand this and I think our strategy will be successful.
