The whole incident is of Dularpur village of Teghra police station area. The victim told that she works as a cook at CO’s house. During that time the CO wanted to rape her. The victim has filed a case of attempt to rape and threat to death.

The victim told that the CO of the block working in Katihar district, Indra Dev Ram, was at his house in Dularpur on May 25. He attempted rape while molesting the victim who was cooking food in the kitchen. The girl somehow resisted and ran from there and saved herself. While running, she jumped in front of the train near Teghra station.
Case registered against CO
She was seriously injured in the accident. After saving her life in the hospital and regaining consciousness, an FIR was lodged on June 6 on her statement at Teghra police station. Teghra police station president Sanjay Kumar said that Suman Devi, former chief of Dularpur panchayat and her husband, CO Indradev Ram, working in Katihar district, have been accused of molestation, attempt to rape and death threats. Teghra police have started investigation by registering a case against CO. Efforts were made to contact the accused CO in the case, but he could not be contacted.

For about 1 year, she used to work with the former chieftain of Dularpur village. According to the information received, Suman Kumari, the former head of Dularpur village, used to be ill. For this reason, she used to stay at his house to give medicine and serve. At the same time, the husband of the chief used to come home every Sunday. The victim’s brother told that in the past there was no talk of any kind of misbehavior. Had he known about this, he would not have been sent to work there.

According to the elder brother of the victim, whatever is happening is being done by the local chief and the sarpanch. They are telling that go here for treatment, go there. That’s where we’re going. We are not that rich enough to fight the case with the CO.
