Pakistani army surrendered! TTP will rule over Pashtun area, will be governed by Sharia law

Pakistan’s army is going to surrender to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the terrorist organization that killed hundreds of children at a military school in Peshawar. After the mediation of the Taliban, there has been a permanent ceasefire between the Pakistan Army and the TTP and an agreement is going to be signed soon. Under this, the Pakistani army will release a large number of TTP terrorists, thousands of Pakistani soldiers stationed in the tribal area will be removed. Apart from this, Sharia law will be implemented in Malakand area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The TTP was formed for the first time in the year 2007 in the tribal area of Pakistan. However, it has not yet been decided whether the tribal area will be merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or not. Apart from this, no decision has been taken on the return of TTP terrorists with weapons and the continuation of the terrorist organization. According to Pakistani media, the General Bajwa and Shahbaz Sharif government have agreed to release thousands of TTP terrorists and withdraw the cases against them in court.

Opposition to the agreement with TTP intensified in Pakistan

The parents of the children killed in Peshawar school are feeling cheated and very angry after they surrendered before the TTP of the Government of Pakistan. In the 2014 attack on Peshawar Army Public School, more than 132 children were killed. All these children belonged to Pakistani soldiers. They say that by dealing with TTP, burnt salt is being sprinkled. On the other hand, Pakistani officials say that they want to end the 14-year-old insurgency.

Meanwhile, the opposition to this agreement is increasing in Pakistan. In view of the violence of TTP, questions are being raised about the importance of the deal. At the same time, people are seeing it by linking it with the Taliban who have come to power with the help of Islamabad. Many analysts are warning of dire consequences for this deal. At the same time, senior officials of the government have admitted that the government is carrying out this conversation with the help of the army. Former Pakistani parliamentarian Afrasaib Khatak says, “After the imposition of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Pakistani army wants to hand over the tribal area to them, which will force the Pashtun neocolonists to live under cruel conditions.”

Pashtuns are haunted by the brutal rule of TTP

Khatak believes that the Pakistani military’s help to the Islamic Taliban is part of their strategy to give direction to Afghanistan’s politics. Along with controlling the Pashtun area which is present in both the countries. The Pashtuns are the largest ethnic minority group in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Their population is about 4 crores. In 2008, Khatak was attacked by the Taliban in a suicide attack in which he narrowly survived. After this he had talks with the Taliban several times. Even before this, agreements were signed with TTP in the year 2008 and 2009 but it was reversed later and the Pakistan Army had to conduct military operations in the Swat Valley. Swat Ghati is one of the 7 districts of Malakand region. Now the Pashtuns are afraid of the brutal rule of the TTP.
