Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : Now patients will not go round Dehradun, dialysis service started in Uttarkashi district hospital itself

Courtesy of National Health Mission and Hans Foundation, Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan gave a big gift of dialysis machine to District Hospital Uttarkashi on Sunday. This has increased the health services of the people of the district. The MLA inaugurated the dialysis center set up in the district hospital. During this, District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela and CMO Dr KS Chauhan were also present.

On this occasion, Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan said that providing better health facilities to the common man is among the priorities of the state government. Due to the absence of dialysis machine in the district hospital, the patients here had to go to Dehradun for dialysis, but with the installation of the machine, now patients suffering from kidney disease can be treated here. There was a great need of dialysis machine in the district hospital, which the government has fulfilled. During this, the MLA also talked about working continuously to further improve the health facilities.

What is DM saying

On the opening of the dialysis center in the district hospital, District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela thanked the Hans Foundation and the health administration for providing this important facility. The District Magistrate said that many people who need this treatment would be benefited by the installation of dialysis machines. Along with this, the problem of poor people who had to go to big cities for their treatment will also be solved here. The District Magistrate said that at present, doctors and technicians have been deployed for dialysis operations with the help of Hans Foundation. Efforts will be made to impart training to the doctors of the district soon, so that in the coming days, the doctors and staff of the hospital can operate the dialysis machine.

Registration of patients started

With the launch of the dialysis center, people of the area have appreciated it. By Sunday afternoon, 11 patients had got themselves registered. While dialysis of two patients Vikas and Jaibir Rana, the machines started operating. During this, District General Secretary BJP Harish Dangwal, Sudha Gupta, CMO Dr. KS Chauhan, CMS Dr. BS Rawat were present.
