Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Photo posted on internet media with pistol, police took two youths into custody

Police have detained two youths who posted photos on internet media with pistols. Police are interrogating the youths taken into custody.
Two youths, residents of Jaurasi village of Roorkee Civil Lines Kotwali area, edited the photo of the gun with their photos and posted it on the internet media. Somebody informed the Kotwali Civil Lines police about the photos of the youth posted with the gun.
After which the police took into custody both the youths who posted the photo with the gun. Police is interrogating both the youths. One of the arrested youths works as a vegetable seller.
He says that he took the photo of the gun from the status of an acquaintance. He has edited this photo with his own photo. He told that he did not have a firearm. While the police is interrogating the youths.
Inspector-in-Charge Devendra Chauhan said that the youths had taken photos from someone’s Facebook status and edited them with their photos. A challan has been made against the youth under 81 Police Act. Along with this, they have also been warned.
Accused arrested in Mangalore molestation case
An accused named in the case of molestation in village Thoi of Kotwali has been arrested by the police. After interrogation, the accused was challaned. A person resident of village Thoi of Mangalore Kotwali told the police in Tahrir that his girl was harassed by Ankit, a resident of the village.
When this complaint was made to Ankit’s relative, the accused assaulted his son Rohit and threatened to kill him. The police had registered a case against real brothers Ankit and Manoj in this case. Female sub-inspector Anshu Chaudhary said that Ankit has been arrested after raiding the house.
