Ayub was working on projects involving missiles and airplane turbines for a government aerospace center in the city of Yazd, some 600 kilometers from Tehran.
A senior Iranian official told the New York Times that after having dinner at Yazd, Kamran developed food poisoning. The host of the dinner party is missing, officials are looking for him. After eating here, his health deteriorated and he died. The series of deaths of top people in suspicious circumstances in the last two weeks has stunned Iran.
