Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Max vehicle fell into ditch near Phulait village, 12 people including driver injured
A Max vehicle fell into a ditch near Phulait village in Maldevta. Twelve passengers including the driver of the vehicle were injured in the accident. With the help of local citizens, the police took the injured to Coronation and Doon Hospital.
Raipur SHO Manmohan Negi said that a vehicle was coming towards Dehradun on Tuesday morning. The vehicle went uncontrollably and fell into a ditch near Phulait village. The passengers suffered minor injuries.
It is being told that all the passengers are residents of Simyari village and were going to Surkanda Devi temple from the village. The injured included drivers Gambhir Singh, Anandi Devi, Rajni Devi, Keshav Rawat, Kidi Devi, Kavita Bhatt, Manju, Himanshu, Priyanshu, Mahadev, Rajendra Bhatt and Sahadev.
Collision between truck and dumper, dumper driver dies
The dumper driver died in a collision between a truck and a dumper on Haridwar bypass in Dehradun. Three bike riders were injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Inspector Pradeep Chauhan of Nehru Colony said that the incident happened at around 5 am on Monday. The dumper driver was coming from ISBT to Rispana bridge while the truck driver was coming towards ISBT after filling bricks. A truck and a dumper collided head-on near Nilay Hills near Bypass Road.
The collision was so strong that the dumper driver got trapped inside the dumper itself. With the help of a crane, he was taken out and admitted to the hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead. The deceased dumper driver has been identified as Usman, a resident of Rampur Shankarpur Sahaspur. During the accident, three people on bikes returning from Hemkund collided with the truck from behind, who sustained injuries. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
