Some anarchists burnt tires and damaged police barricades, causing traffic jams and inconvenience to commuters. The police tried to prevent the situation from worsening by exercising utmost restraint.

The agency is questioning Rahul in the money laundering case related to the National Herald case. In protest, all the Congress leaders were seen standing at the gate of the party headquarters. Congressmen alleged that Delhi Police barged into the party office.

Congress leaders alleged that the Delhi Police barged into the Congress office and manhandled the leaders. Activists lodged a protest by burning tires on the streets of Delhi. As a precautionary measure for Rahul’s appearance, Delhi Police had closed Akbar Road to prevent Congress workers from protesting. But the Congress workers remained adamant and took to the streets.
