NASA’s rover is only 7 feet away from the evidence of aliens on Mars, the secrets of the red planet will be revealed soon!
There is a debate all over the world about whether there are aliens on Mars. Meanwhile, scientists from the US space agency NASA have said that their rover sent to Mars is only 7 feet away from achieving evidence of alien life. NASA is looking for certain amino acids on Mars that are a component to building proteins. Meanwhile, NASA has also given a disappointing news in the latest research done on Mars.
Research published in NASA’s journal Astrobiology says that cosmic rays are destroying evidence of this amino acid earlier than we understand. Alexander Pavlov of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Maryland, says, ‘The current Mars rover mission has excavated about 2 inches. He said that it took only 20 million years for the amino acids present under the ground in Mars to be completely destroyed.
‘Mars was a lot like Earth’
Pavlov said, ‘Perchlorate acid and water further speed up the elimination of amino acids. Although 20 million years seems like a long time, it is very short, that too when Mars was very much like Earth. NASA has now calculated that the rover will have to dig to a depth of 6.6 feet to be successful. In such a depth, amino acids have to be searched which have not been spoiled by radiation from space.
The lead author of this research, Pavlov, said that there is evidence that there was a dense atmosphere on Mars billions of years ago. Also there was a shield like a magnetic field like that of the earth. This atmosphere allowed liquid to enter the Red Planet. It also blocked ultraviolet rays from reaching the surface from space. These rays are generated by some powerful event in space. This includes the bursting of a star or a solar storm.
