“Uttarakhand” will be the first state to implement Uniform Civil Code, preparations begin – CM Dhami
State Chief Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uniform Civil Code has been initiated inside Uttarakhand. For this a five-member committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of retired judge Ranjana Prasad Desai. Which will prepare the draft after interacting with the public. Which will be implemented in the state. Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country to implement the Common Civil Code. Other states are also expected to implement this law in their state. He said that under the mountain range, ropeways would be constructed at 35 religious and pilgrimage places in the state. On Friday, Kanyashree program was organized by Rotary Club in a hotel located on Ramnagar Road.
On this occasion, CM Dhami said that number 1064 has been issued to check corruption in the state. On giving information by dialing this number, the entire surveillance team will be engaged. Since the release of the said number, eight cases have been caught so far. There will be no discrimination between big and small in the state. If an officer sitting in a high position is indulging in corruption, then action will be taken against him too. Said state is running in 22nd year. Uttarakhand will be the best state of the country in the year 2025. He said that all government offices should open on time, for this, arrangements have been made for biometric attendance in the offices.
There will be no one day meeting inside the Secretariat. On this day the officials will solve the problems of the visitors coming from outside. Said that this time 26 lakh devotees have come in Chardham Yatra in one and a half months. Yatra has broken all records.
