Because the Uttarakhand government is now preparing to crack down on such doctors, who do not provide their services in the mountains despite filling the bond. This time, MBBS students will have to pay a heavy fine of Rs 2.5 crore for breaking the bond. In such a situation, now doctors will think hundred times before breaking the bond. The state government will now levy a fine ranging from one crore to two and a half crores against the doctors who break the bond. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, who reached Haldwani tour, participated in the public dialogue program. During this, he said that after completing medical studies, doctors break the bond of providing services in Uttarakhand and go away from here. Due to which the health department as well as the state government is also suffering huge losses. Not only this, there is a huge shortage of doctors in the state, but due to laxity in the bond, students take advantage of this and leave after completing their studies. In such a situation, any medical student who breaks the bond after completing his studies will have to pay a fine. 2.5 crore to doctors doing PG. While the doctor doing UG MBBS will have to pay a fine of one crore. This rule will be implemented in the upcoming session. Along with this, he said that now the state government is going to make the prescription rate of hospitals in the entire state one. Along with this, it is going to rate other medical tests including X-rays in hospitals. So that people can get benefit from it.

Dhan Singh Rawat said that till now the rates of OPD prescription and tests are different in different hospitals. Taking a decision on this in the coming cabinet, one rate will be implemented in the entire state. Apart from this, apart from the primary health center in the assembly constituency, whatever government hospital is there. A patient welfare committee is being formed there. Where the president of that hospital will be the MLA. Where information about the work plan of that hospital will be taken every month through the committee and minor deficiencies will be removed through the committee.

Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat did a health dialogue program with journalists. In which detailed information was given about the schemes being run by the Health Department. Along with this, various suggestions were sought from the journalists to improve the health department. During this, Principal and Chief Medical Officer of Haldwani Medical College also gave information to solve various problems. Talking to the media, Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that to meet the shortage of surgeon doctors in the hospitals, 46 surgeon doctors have been selected this month. The shortage of doctors in the hospitals will be filled soon.

He said that a large number of doctors are going to Uttarakhand in the month of March. Where 15 doctors will be posted in Okhal Kanda area of ​​Nainital district. Dhan Singh Rawat said that suggestions taken from the media will be implemented soon. Along with this, instructions were also given to get the action plan of these suggestions done through the CMO.

On the other hand, Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat flagged off the de-addiction rally organized by school students in Nainital. During this, an oath was administered to the school students to stay away from drugs. After which Dhan Singh Rawat attended the State Level NAAC Accreditation Training Workshop organized under the aegis of UGC Human Resource Development Center, Kumaon University. During this, Dhan Singh Rawat said that training is being given to the principals of colleges across the state to bring the universities of Uttarakhand in A category. The government has implemented the National Education Policy in graduation classes. Which is now being implemented in post graduate classes as well.

All the degree colleges of the state will be linked 100 percent with NAAC studies. Which will be the first state of the country. Twenty lakh books have been given to the students through e-libraries in all the colleges. Due to which the students will get a lot of convenience in studying. Dhan Singh Rawat said that Uttarakhand is going to become the first state in the country, where one admission, one examination, one result, one convocation and one election will be implemented in all universities. Soon the vacant posts will be filled in all the colleges and colleges of the state. Along with this, the government is working to fill the vacant posts of the backlog.

Dhan Singh Rawat instructed all the principals of the state to form teams in their respective colleges to lay emphasis on sports activities, cleanliness, adopt villages and make them 100 percent literate and make the state drug-free. He said that India has to be made TB free. For this, each principal should adopt a TB patient. So that, the dream of TB free India can be fulfilled. At the same time, Dhan Singh Rawat participated in the program in the Employment Fair 2023 organized by the School Education Department. During this, the Higher Education Minister gave appointment letters to 78 candidates of Assistant Teacher LT selected by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Selection Commission.

Medical college students and faculty will be posted on Chardham Yatra route

Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the pilgrims visiting Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand should not face any kind of problem. For this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also held several rounds of meetings with the officials. This time the health department is going to do a new experiment in Chardham Yatra, where the doctors and faculty of Government Medical College will be deployed in Chardham Yatra for medical facilities to the passengers.
