Uttarakhand / Dehradun : When his own officers and personnel stopped the file, the DM imposed a fine
Under the Uttarakhand Right to Service Act, District Magistrate Dr. R Rajesh Kumar has imposed a penalty of Rs 500-500 while taking action against 25 officers/personnel responsible for delay in transfer of property.
District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar has informed that the Office of the Right to Service Commission, Chalang Hills, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, on 09 May 2022 from the office of the designated officer / Municipal Commissioner, Dehradun from 01 January 2019 to 30 June 2021. Instructions have been given to take action under section 9(3) against the officials responsible for delay in disposal of total 1017 cases pending transfer of property till date.
In this regard, a list of the personnel/officers responsible for the delayed delivery of property transfer services has been provided by the Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Dehradun. In compliance with the order of the Hon’ble Commission, for delay in providing the services of transfer of property in the office of the Municipal Corporation, Dehradun, by imposing a penalty of Rs.500 to the guilty officers/employees under section 9(3) of the Right to Service Act 2011 Directed the officers / employees to ensure to deposit the imposed penalty in the main branch of State Bank of India, Dehradun through Treasury Challan in Account Head No.-0070601190201, and ensure to inform this office as soon as possible from the compliance report.
