Uttarakhand / Kashipur : Smuggler arrested with 10 thousand intoxicating pills, used to spend Bijnor’s goods in Kashipur
Udham Singh Nagar district of Kumaon division is becoming a stronghold of illegal drugs. However, the police is also taking continuous action to curb illegal drugs. On the instructions of Udham Singh Nagar SSP TC Manjunath, a campaign against illegal drugs is also being run across the district, in which the police is also getting success. In Kunda police station area of Kashipur, the police has arrested a young man with 10 thousand intoxicating pills.
Kashipur SP Chandramohan Singh disclosed this matter on Tuesday. He told that Udham Singh Nagar SSP TC Manjunath had given instructions to run a campaign against illegal drugs in all the police station areas of the district. In this sequence, Kashipur CO Veer Singh was also taking action.
Bhaukal, ‘Azad’ reached behind the bars, according to the police, at around 10.15 pm on Monday, a young man riding a bike was stopped for checking near KVR Hospital on Moradabad Road. When the youth was searched, a large quantity of illegal intoxicating pills was recovered from him. The accused told the police that he started smuggling intoxicating pills in order to earn more money in less time. The accused used to bring drugs from Bijnor in UP and sell them in Kashipur.
